Aakar is a Kathmandu-based design-build firm established in 2076. We offer complete turnkey solutions, bringing architecture, construction, and interior design under one roof, so your project moves from first sketch to final handover without the hassle of juggling multiple contractors. Over the years, we have completed 140+ projects across residential, commercial, and institutional spaces. Every one of them built on the same commitment: understand the client, respect the site, and deliver what we promise.
Our Story
In Nepal, most people hire an architect to design their house and then try to figure out the construction on their own. They find a contractor through someone they know, manage workers themselves, and hope everything goes according to plan. More often than not, it does not. Work gets delayed, costs go up, and the finished result does not match what was originally designed. Nobody is truly accountable.
That is the problem Aakar was started to solve. We believed that the same people who design your house should also be responsible for building it. That way, there is no gap, no miscommunication, and no one passing blame to the other. You deal with one team from start to finish. The second reason we started Aakar is simple. Modern life does not leave much room to manage a construction project. Most people do not have the time, or the energy to coordinate everything a build requires. We took that responsibility on ourselves so our clients do not have to. You bring the land and the budget. We take care of everything else. Two problems, one solution.
